Slithers enjoys playing hide and seek with Chopin and Gershwin after school. He is a good hider because he is able to coil up in small spaces.
"We found you!" Chopin and Gershwin cried when they opened the drawer and saw Slithers. "Now it's our turn to hide and your turn to seek!"

Slithers really does like playing hide n' seek. He would play that here in Roanoke whenever Joshua and Gracie would offer. Joshua can't believe that Slithers was on a plane. He wondered if it was like the movie "Snakes on Planes". Although he never watched the movie, he was intrigued by the title.
